ARTIST BIO

Irene Poole is a singer-songwriter and actor from Banff, who has performed at various venues around the Bow Valley, and in New York, where she recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at LIU Post. Her indie-folk songs often take inspiration from the world around her, and from other strong women songwriters who have come before. Recently, Irene has performed at the Canmore Folk Festival, and opened for Quote the Raven at ArtsPlace. Through acting, singing, writing, and playing her ukuleles, Irene aims to be a storyteller in everything she does. Her music often takes its inspiration from songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Lucy Rose.
