Justine Giles, a Calgary-based singer-songwriter, fearlessly bares her soul in her latest single "Before It's Too Late," adding to her growing discography of emotive bluesy rock and heartfelt ballads. With national recognition on the rise through appearances on CBC and showcases with CCMA and Jim Beam, Giles channels influences like Maren Morris and Sheryl Crow to captivate audiences with her raw authenticity.

Meanwhile, Sarah Houston, also based in Calgary, crafts lush and vibrant musical landscapes through her compositions, drawing listeners into intricate sonic worlds with her experimental approach to piano and melody. With over 4 million streams on Spotify from her 2023 album "From the Window," Houston continues to push boundaries, eagerly anticipating the release of her fifth solo album in 2025.

ARTIST BIOS

Justine Giles is ready to tell all, and the Calgary-based singer-songwriter isn’t afraid of what will happen next. Always one to wear her heart on her sleeve, Giles returns with a smoky new single, “Before It’s Too Late”, a bluesy rock confessional and last-chance-at-love ballad. This release marks her third single in under two years following the shimmering summer bop “Another Chance” and the deeply emotive “Save Myself". The momentum is mounting for Giles, who has become a mainstay in the Calgary music scene and is continuing to garner national attention with each release. With appearances on CBC’s Eyeopener and X929’s Xposure, showcases with the CCMA’s “Off Country” and Jim Beam’s “Stillhouse Songwriter Sessions”, Giles draws inspiration from the deep well of songwriting traditions in the style of Maren Morris, Sheryl Crow and Kacey Musgraves.

Sarah Houston is a Calgary-based pianist, composer, and experimental musician. Her solo work focuses on creating lush, beautiful musical textures, at times minimal and at times vibrant. By combining interesting rhythmic elements, delicate layers of sound, and melodies that pierce through her compositions, Sarah writes pieces that are intricately layered, creating a truly unique listening experience. Through her soundscapes, she aims to create worlds that are lush and inviting, where every sonic touch matters and each note is carefully chosen. Sarah's 2023 Album "From the Window," has amassed over 4 million streams on Spotify alone and she is currently working on her 5th solo album due to release sometime in 2025.
